Data controller

Data we collect

We only process the data you voluntarily provide through our forms (for example, the contact or subscription form).

We also measure visits with our own anonymous system that uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device: it records the page viewed, the referring site and the type of browser, and your IP address is not stored but turned into an encrypted code that changes every day. As it does not allow you to be identified or followed from one day to the next, it does not constitute processing of personal data. Full details in our cookie policy.

We also use Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand the volume and general behaviour of our audience. Until you accept analytics cookies the service runs in restricted mode: it stores no cookies or identifiers on your device and only transmits aggregated information. If you accept, Google analytics cookies are set that make it possible to recognise repeat visits.

Google may process that data on servers outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. You can read how Google handles the information at policies.google.com/privacy.

Purpose and legal basis

Form data is processed to handle your enquiries, based on your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), and anonymous audience measurement on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing which content is of interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

The use of third-party analytics cookies relies solely on your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time from "Manage cookies" in the footer, with the same effect as if it had never been given.

Retention

We keep data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and applicable legal obligations.
