The host of Todo es Mentira has a mountain home in the Cerdaña, featuring a two-storey library with over 300 books and an infinity pool facing the valley.
As ABC reports, the presenter Risto Mejide owns a mountain house in the Cerdaña, one of the most exclusive regions of the Catalan Pyrenees. The property is located in a municipality with fewer than 2,000 inhabitants, surrounded by forest and offering views of the mountains from many of its rooms.
The building combines traditional Pyrenean architecture with a more contemporary design. Stone, wood, and exposed beams play a leading role, and large windows provide views of the landscape from almost any point in the house.
The living room revolves around a large built-in fireplace, next to which there is a black piano positioned by the windows. The decor features neutral tones and natural materials, and the space includes multiple levels and spacious common areas.
The most personal corner of the house is the library, spread over two levels and housing more than 300 books. The dark shelves reach almost to the ceiling, and a metal ladder allows access to the upper volumes. Among them are some works published by Mejide himself.
Outside, the estate boasts a large garden, several terraces with wooden furniture, and an infinity pool that seems to extend towards the mountains. In summer, the views over the valley are the main attraction, while in winter, the snow completely transforms the landscape.
