A 28-year-old man with a criminal record was caught stealing from a bakery in Martorell. He was also linked to an attempted robbery at a nearby bar.
A late-night theft in Martorell led to the swift arrest of a 28-year-old man, who has seven prior offenses on his record. The incident occurred around 3:15 AM on August 28, when the suspect was discovered hiding inside a bakery after successfully stealing cash from the register.
The police, known as Mossos d’Esquadra, responded to reports of the break-in and found that the glass door of the bakery had been shattered. In addition to taking money, the thief had also helped himself to several drinks from the refrigerator.
As officers were processing the scene, they received an alert about an alarm triggered at a nearby bar. Although he attempted to break into this establishment by smashing a window on the upper floor, he left empty-handed.
