The police operation uncovered over 400 marijuana plants, which were found flourishing in an advanced state of growth. Authorities estimate that this plantation could yield approximately 80.8 kilos of marijuana, with a staggering market value calculated at €145,819 for wholesale distribution and up to €534,896 if sold retail.
This operation was initiated following tips received by law enforcement regarding suspicious activities in the area. On September 16, police executed their plan and arrested the suspect. The site contained various infrastructures designed for cultivation purposes, including large water tanks and an elaborate irrigation system.
