The PP and Vox maintain their advantage in the Community of Valencia while Diana Morant's PSOE continues to sink in the polls, according to surveys published since September. The general elections on November 29 and the regional elections on May 23, 2027, will be the decisive dates.

Electoral surveys in the Community of Valencia continue to paint a favourable picture for the PP and Vox, who are expanding their absolute majority, while Diana Morant's PSOE keeps falling in the polls. This is reported by eldebate.com, which exclusively predicted on September 25 a victory for the centre-right bloc and the sinking of the socialists.

In the Palau de la Generalitat Valenciana, they have been aware of these forecasts for months, but they have chosen not to use them as an argument to close the debate on Juanfran Pérez Llorca's candidacy for the regional elections on May 23, 2027. The president of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, has also refrained from using his power to advance the elections to coincide with the general elections on November 29 called by Pedro Sánchez.

This electoral advance would have caught Diana Morant off guard with the polls against her, according to analyses published in recent weeks. The head of the Consell has preferred to maintain the regional calendar and not mix the Valencian date with the national one.

The general elections on November 29 will serve as a first test to measure the health of the PP and PSOE in the Community of Valencia. However, the real test for Pérez Llorca and Morant will come with the ballots on May 23, 2027, when Valencian citizens decide who governs the Generalitat.

"The definitive poll for Pérez Llorca and Morant will be the one determined by the ballots on May 23, 2027"

The internal debate over the popular candidacy remains open, although the results of the polls only reinforce Pérez Llorca's position at the helm of the party in the Community of Valencia. PP voters, according to the surveys, do not understand why a discussion is prolonged that they consider sterile and detrimental to the interests of the centre-right.

Meanwhile, Morant's PSOE faces a complicated scenario: the polls place them far from the majority and with no signs of short-term recovery. The socialist leader will need to reverse this trend before the regional elections if she wants to compete for the Generalitat.

The electoral calendar is thus marked by two dates: the general elections in November 2026, which will serve as a thermometer, and the regional elections in May 2027, which will decide the political future of the Community of Valencia.
