The fire originated from an apartment that was vacant at the time, and fortunately, there were no occupants present on the upper floor either. Despite the severity of the situation, only two individuals sustained minor injuries—one suffered a cut while evacuating and another experienced smoke inhalation.
Local authorities responded swiftly to the emergency. Four fire units were deployed alongside four local police teams and three ambulances from the Medical Emergency System. The rapid response helped contain the flames before they could spread further within the building.
The affected apartment has been severely damaged, with its living room completely burned out and damage also reported on the terrace of an adjacent unit. As a precautionary measure, residents were evacuated until structural assessments could be conducted.
