A macabre discovery in the Almogía reservoir
Last autumn, the Almogía reservoir in Málaga became the scene of a crime that has left the community stunned. A user of a camper van discovered a bag containing the lifeless body of a 31-year-old Albanian man, whose disappearance had been reported months earlier by his partner. The police investigation has revealed that this murder is linked to criminal activities associated with international drug trafficking.
The National Police have carried out a series of arrests that have culminated in the provisional imprisonment of two men and a woman, all residents of the province of Barcelona. The arrests occurred after an exhaustive investigation pointed to these individuals as the alleged perpetrators of the murder. The men, aged 36 and 45, are compatriots of the deceased and are accused of being the material authors of the crime.
The woman involved, a 58-year-old Spanish national, has been identified as a necessary collaborator. According to authorities, she rented a vehicle that was used by the men to travel from Barcelona to Málaga in order to carry out the homicide.
