The video game 'Bolets a la vista' puts the player in search of mushrooms in the forest and deciding which are edible. It costs **€3.99** and does not require an internet connection.

As reported by El Debate: programmer Ramon Forns, from Granollers, has developed a game over the course of one and a half years that brings the mushroom season to the mobile screen. It is called 'Bolets a la vista' and is available in Catalan for iPhone, iPad, and Android.

The game is viewed from above, like a map, and the player searches for mushrooms hidden among the leaves. Each specimen must be classified as edible or toxic. Upon finding one, a card explains its features to differentiate one species from another, with a total of 27 real species.

The scenarios are inspired by areas of Montseny, Montnegre i el Corredor, Berguedà, Ripollès, and Garrotxa, featuring beech forests, pine forests, oak groves, holm oak forests, cork oak forests, and riverside woods. The Zen mode allows for searching without a time limit.

Forns, who has been programming since the age of twelve, also includes waste that the player can collect along the way, a detail designed to care for the natural environment. The app costs €3.99 in a single payment, with no ads or in-app purchases.

No registration or connection is required to play, so it can be taken to the mountains and used without coverage. The app is available in the stores for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
