According to elperiodico.com, the sun will be the main feature this Friday in Catalonia, with temperatures that could reach 20 degrees in specific parts of the region. The data comes from the forecast of the Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya, known as Meteocat.

The day will start off cold, although the thermometer will rise throughout the morning, leading to a mild midday. The lows will be very similar to those of Wednesday and Thursday, so relief will come from the central hours.

The highest values will be found in the coastal and pre-coastal regions. In the rest of the territory, according to Meteocat, no significant changes are expected compared to the last few days.

In the morning, there will be some patches of fog inland, which could be locally dense and persistent in the Ebro valley and in Lleida. This fog could delay the appearance of the sun during the early hours.

Looking ahead to the weekend, more clouds will arrive on Saturday and Monday, although without significant rainfall. Several frontal systems from the Atlantic will reach Catalonia considerably weakened, and some weak and isolated precipitation of little importance cannot be ruled out.

For the coming days, Meteocat forecasts a slight increase in temperatures during the nights and early morning hours. The highs will depend on cloud cover: where there are more dense clouds, the thermometers could register slightly lower values.
