The 2026 versions of two agricultural maps of Catalonia, created using data from the Single Agricultural Declaration, are now available for free on the Open Data portal.

The updates for 2026 of the parcel and crop map and the agricultural exploitation map of Catalonia can now be consulted, as reported by Agrodigital. Both are based on the data declared in the Single Agricultural Declaration (DUN) for the 2026 campaign and are published on the Open Data portal of the Generalitat.

The parcel map allows users to locate each declared agricultural parcel and view its main crop, irrigation system, type of cover, requested aids, vineyard parcel codes, or the presence of second crops. It also indicates areas of special protection for birds (ZEPA), sites of community importance (LIC), nitrate vulnerable zones, and certified organic production.

The exploitation map, on the other hand, geolocates the farms in Catalonia and delineates each one with its total area. It also includes the legal form, requested aids, and the age and gender of the holder.

According to the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food, the information comes from the DUN, the annual declaration with which holders communicate their structural and productive information, their aid requests, and other procedures. This data is integrated into the Integrated Data System for Agricultural Exploitations of Catalonia (SIDEAC), and the cartographic base of both maps is the SIGPAC enclosure.

The series are continuous: from 2015 in the parcel and crop map and from 2019 in the exploitation map. This allows tracking the evolution of agricultural activity and land use over time, and reusing the data through the Open Data portal.
