The festivities began at 10:00 AM, departing from Casa Batlló on Passeig de Gràcia. At 11:00 AM, the parade made a stop at La Pedrera, where attendees could appreciate performances before continuing towards the Sagrada Familia, arriving around 12:30 PM. This event not only celebrated the new tower but also served as a reminder of the cultural legacy that Gaudí left in Barcelona.
Along the route, participants enjoyed traditional dances featuring the cabezudos Maceros and various groups of giants, including the giants of Pi and the giants of Santa María. The festive atmosphere was palpable among the attendees, who were enthusiastic about each performance.
“The participation has been incredible; seeing so many groups united is a true homage to our culture,” commented Esteve Camps, delegate president of the construction board.

Concluding this special day, the presidents of the groups along with priest Josep Maria Turull performed an emotional floral offering at the crypt where Antoni Gaudí rests. Throughout the event, gifts were given to all participating groups in recognition of their effort and dedication to keeping these popular traditions alive. The day ended with applause and smiles among all present.
