The Mossos d'Esquadra are preparing their maximum level device for Saturday, with calls from 5 PM at various points in the city. The operation will be coordinated with the Guardia Urbana.

The Mossos d'Esquadra are preparing the level 4 device, the maximum anticipated for public mobilisations, ahead of the new Blocus call this Saturday starting at 5 PM. This measure comes after the disturbances and looting in shops on the 24th, which resulted in 133 arrests and over 600 identified.

According to police sources, the operation will be coordinated with the Guardia Urbana and will significantly increase the number of personnel involved compared to the previous Saturday, around 300. The primary objective will be to carry out as many identifications as possible on public transport, as many of those identified last week arrived from municipalities in the metropolitan area.

The Mossos have closed four Telegram channels that had over 3,000 members. They are now monitoring about 10 more, although, according to the police, they hardly register any activity. Nevertheless, they detect calls for 5 PM at Plaça de Catalunya and on Passeig Lluís Companys, and from 8 PM on Passeig de Gràcia.

The operation's command will be located at the central Cecor of the Complex Central de Egara in Sabadell, and will coordinate with the Cecor on Calle de Lleida in Barcelona, as well as with those in other cities where there could also be calls. Police sources indicate that the only successful call was in the capital on the 24th.

Responses in other locations did not gather any participants nor were any incidents recorded, but the police are aware of calls in Blanes, Terrassa, Reus, and El Vendrell for Friday afternoon. For Saturday, Lleida, Badalona, Igualada, Mataró, Girona, Terrassa, Gavà, Figueres, and Platja d'Aro are listed, where police coverage is also expected in case of disturbances.
