The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a 30-year-old man for several shots fired into the air during a mass brawl that occurred on August 9 in Roquetes, Nou Barris.
A man aged 30 is detained as the alleged perpetrator of several shots fired into the air with a firearm in the Roquetes neighbourhood, in Nou Barris. The arrest was made by agents from the Nou Barris Investigation Unit of the Mossos d'Esquadra, more than two months after the events.
It all started on August 9, when several calls to 112 alerted about a mass brawl in which shots were heard. The calls also warned that there might be an injured person, but investigators have been unable to locate them, so they have not been able to confirm their identity or how the injury occurred.
Officers collected a spent cartridge and a bullet from the area. Additionally, they detected a bullet impact on a parked vehicle at the scene, confirming that real shots were fired during the altercation.
Subsequently, the investigation reviewed two vehicles related to the events. Based on this evidence, the agents identified the suspect, located him, and arrested him on October 15.
The detainee is being investigated for the alleged crimes of threats, possession of weapons, and injuries. According to the Mossos d'Esquadra, these charges are part of the police investigation and do not imply a judicial conviction by themselves.
The man was brought before the court this Thursday. The injured person has still not appeared, leaving part of what occurred in Roquetes unresolved.
