Catalonia regains atmospheric stability after the showers of the week. The sky will be mostly clear and temperatures will not exceed 20 ºC.
According to El Periódico, the weather in Catalonia calms down this Saturday after a few days marked by showers. The rains at the beginning of the week left accumulations exceeding 100 mm on the coast of Tarragona.
A front crossing the Peninsula will lose strength upon reaching the territory and will dissipate without leaving significant records. The sky will be clear in much of Catalonia, with bands of low clouds in the Central Depression and on the coast.
In the afternoon, cloud cover will increase and a light shower is not ruled out in the northern half, although with scarce amounts. In the coast of Barcelona and Tarragona, no precipitation is expected, but the sky will remain overcast.
Temperatures will drop again and will remain below 20 ºC throughout the day. The wind, of variable intensity, will be particularly noticeable on the Costa Brava.
Sunday will continue in the same vein, with a clear or slightly cloudy sky in the morning. Cloud cover will increase by night in the Central Depression and the coast.
The biggest change will come next week, when an Atlantic storm could trigger a new episode of instability. The rains would mainly affect the regions of Lleida and Tarragona.
