The resident label at Fabra i Coats publishes a vinyl reissue of $DVORE, ten years after its original release, and issues the soundtrack of Papagayo on cassette.

The label Empty 6 Pack takes its first step into vinyl format with a reissue of $DVORE, the album by $DVORE a.k.a. Cardevore that was released on cassette in 2015 through San José Tapes. The album now returns revised and remastered by Ruy Mariné, and includes an extra track, Trashpreciosismo, produced by GXLXZZX.

The edition is limited to 300 copies and is a co-production with the labels Aceleradora and Urpa i musell. The label is based at Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació, in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona.

The second novelty is the original soundtrack of Papagayo, composed by Iván Blanco for the film by Omar Al Abdul Razzak. It features 25 pieces that combine experimental electronics, ambient, and cinematic music, and is released on cassette with a run of 350 copies.

The work pays tribute to Syrian tapes from the 1970s to 2000. All proceeds will go to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), as detailed in the edition itself.

Empty 6 Pack focuses on independent music and physical releases, particularly on cassette, with attention to graphic design and materials for each release. Its catalogue brings together original proposals and countercultural attitudes from a philosophy of cooperation.

Anyone wanting more information about the label can check the website of Fabra i Coats, where they can also subscribe to the cultural centre's activity newsletter.
