An Unprecedented Theatrical Weekend
Pineda de Mar, a charming municipality in Maresme, is preparing to welcome theatre lovers from all over during the first weekend of May. The XXII International Amateur Theatre Showcase promises to be an unforgettable event, with over 50 performances scheduled in nine different venues throughout May 1, 2, and 3, 2026.
Attendees will be able to enjoy a diverse theatrical offering in iconic locations such as the Municipal Auditorium, the Cultural and Recreational Centre, which includes the Main Hall, Tívoli Hall, and Multipurpose Hall, as well as the El Sindicato Hall and the Sara Llorens Space. Additionally, the Poblenou Civic Centre, the El Aloc Space, and Can Comas will also be integral parts of the festival.
Access to the performances is very affordable: each individual ticket costs only 5 euros. For those who wish to fully immerse themselves in the theatrical experience, there is an option to purchase a pass that allows attendance at all performances for just 15 euros. However, it is important to note that this pass does not guarantee seat reservation; attendees will need to queue to secure their spot.
Passes are available for advance purchase at Can Comas, located at Plaza Catalunya number 3. Individual tickets can be purchased one hour before the start of each performance directly at the venue where the play will take place, until stocks last.
