This project will provide 111 new parking spaces, with four designated for individuals with reduced mobility. The construction will take place on two adjacent plots located at Calle del Mar, 2 and Calle del Penedès, 2-10. In addition to creating parking spaces, the project includes upgrades to the local drainage system and public lighting, ensuring that the infrastructure meets current standards.
This temporary parking solution employs modular and recoverable paving materials. Such choices reflect a commitment to sustainability, allowing for easy removal should future developments occur on the site. Furthermore, plans include planting trees to mitigate heat islands and enhancing green areas with herbaceous plants in non-parking zones. The total budget for this eight-month project amounts to €370,229.18, including VAT, with Catalana de Treballs i Obres SL awarded the contract.
